My gosh, we have had some rain. I think that everyone is a little sick of it now. Thank god it is not windy though, it could be worse.
The paddocks are so wet at the moment that we cannot even drive the quad bike or the motor bike on them. The soil has been that saturated with rain it is now sitting ontop of the ground. A little bit of sunshine and it will all go away, but we are not about to get that either for a little while. Tao is at home with me today as he was sick last night (I say it is because he was wearing a t-shirt and jumper yesterday.....). It is winter after all. He is ok now though, it is amazing what a little day off school will do for them. Tomorrow I am going on an excursion with Kai's school class. That should be fun, we are going to the museum for an Antartic exhibition and then a play on a play ground in Hobart. I am not looking forward to the ear bashing on the bus though with all the noise, that is not going to be fun. Wednesday I am going to a business breakfast where we do workshops on various topics and this week it is going to be about Risk Management. These are very worthwhile going to (especially as they are at 7am in the morning). Last one I went to I got good business out of. Then at 11am I am invited to a GROW Launch in Salamanca about food sustainability with Mathew Evans as one of the speakers. Matthew Evans is the Gourmet Farmer on SBS, a very good show and lives in Tassie. Another busy week ahead but loving every minute of it. Talk Soon....
