Dukkah
Dukkah is a middle eastern dipping spice traditionally eaten with crusty bread and a good quality olive oil. I have many retail outlets and farmers markets in Hobart, Huonville, Geeveston and on the east coast of Tasmania and the north of the state. All the flavours are GLUTEN and DAIRY FREE and two of the flavours are completely NUT FREE (Zatar and Chip Spice).
We have had a huge response to the Dukkah and everyone who tries it LOVES it. We are glad that we can offer a product that everyone enjoys. The ingredients are sourced as local as possible but we also source organic where possible also.

The flavours that we have are:
 Postage All parcels that are ordered have a postage charge. This amount is: $10.00 for parcels containing up to four tubs of dukkah (weighing up to 500gms) $15.00 for parcels containing four to 6 tubs of dukkah ( weighing up to 600gms) $20.00 for parcels over 6 tubs of dukkah. Very easy to eat and very addictive. This flavour is the more traditional middle eastern flavour and is great on anything. 1st Place winner at the Campbelltown Show 2011 in the open preserves section. A$ 8.00  Cashew Dukkah - 100g Again this is a nice mild Dukkah that is very easy to eat and very addictive. This flavour is well suited to chicken dishes or as a coating before being cooked. 2nd place winner at the Huon Show 2011 A$ 8.00  Lemon Pepper Dukkah - 100g Good to eat with bread and olive oil, or coat your fish with it and pan fry it. The oils in the nuts will make it a tasty meal. This flavour is not too plain and simple and has a nice tang to it. This is one of my most popular flavours. 3rd place winner at the Brighton Agricultural Show 2011 A$ 8.00  Garlic Dukkah Fantastic for steam green beans, fish or roast vegies. The garlic for this Dukkah is grown on the property and this is probably my biggest seller by far. Everyone who tastes it loves the taste. It is not too overpowering and will not stay with you for the rest of the day. A$ 8.00  Zatar - 30g A combination of herbs and Sumac. Good for salads but best on baked potatoes or small par boiled potatoes. Zatar is the product that I get the most questions from on my stalls as it is very different to the other flavours. It originates in Lebanon and is used to put ontop of pitta breads before being baked. A$ 4.00 
Dried Apple Rings
These apple rings are completely preservative free and very tasty. The apples are sourced from the Huon Valley and are fresh from the farm. They are dehydrated slowly and have a beautiful "tang" about them. Everyone is really loving them at the markets and we are pretty excited about them. We are about to bring out another couple of apple ring flavours so watch out. apple rings $3.50 per bag. 
Lightly Spiced Tassie Potato Chips (Currently out of stock)
You have never tasted potato chips until you have tasted these !!!!!!We have packaged our thinly sliced and deep fried potatoes and lightly spiced them with our Chip Spice that we make. They are pretty irresitable and very addictive. We use potatoes grown in the Huon Valley and these are also fresh from the farm. Potato Chips - $3.00 per bag |
 Mild Chilli Dukkah - 100g Good for red meat dishes or to eat on its own with bread and olive oil. This Dukkah contains peanuts, so if you have a peanut allergy this flavour is not recommended. Mild Chilli is as the name suggests and is mild enough for kids to eat or even the biggest non chilli lover of the family. A$ 8.00  HOT Chilli Dukkah - 100g Good for red meat dishes or to eat on its own with bread and olive oil. Hot Chilli is hotter than the mild version and also contains peanuts so the same allergy warning applies. This flavour is great ontop of pizza toppings or through a pasta. A$ 8.00  Dynamite Chilli Dukkah - 100g Guaranteed to knock your socks off. I was told the hot chilli dukkah was not hot enough so this one was created. This flavour is for the serious chilli lovers and also contains peanuts. Dynamite is as the name suggests, it creeps up on you but still has a nice flavour without being too over the top. A$ 8.00  Chip Spice - 40g As the name suggests it is good for sprinkling over hot chips, wedges or simply putting in soups and stews. The more you put on the hotter it will be but very tasty. A little bit goes a long way so a small container will last you a while. I have customers that buy their chips from the shop and put this flavouring on as it has not preservatives and is pure spice. A$ 4.00 Sweet Dukkah - 100g This is a new and unusual flavour that we have developed. This is mainly good to use on deserts, ice cream or muffins. The reason this Dukkah was made is because a customer requested it for her fudge business and the idea stayed with me. A$ 8.00 THESE ARE BOTH AVAILABLE AT THE Tas Farm Gate market in Hobart.
